Focus on speaking

The most difficult and often underdeveloped skill is speaking. Speaking and improving fluency and confidence is a big focus in my classes. We will work on verbal expression, fluency and pronunciation in addition to grammar, listening, reading and writing.

Classes tailored to your needs

Some of my current students include: pilots, doctors, flight crew, software engineers and scientists. I love creating lessons based on what type of English you need. Of course, general English is great too!

Flexible class schedule

We will work together to find a suitable day and time for your classes. My classes are taught online via Zoom so you can learn from the comfort of your own home, office or favourite coffee shop.

More about my classes

My classes are fun, engaging and all about your specific language learning journey.

Speaking: We will focus on boosting your fluency and confidence. This will be achieved by discussing many different everyday topics in class and by using "real life" English in order to achieve a more natural way of speaking. Pronunciation will also be improved using a variety of different phonological techniques.

Listening: It's important to be able to understand different English accents and to listen to the language being used in different contexts. That's why I use varied media sources for listening practices. For example: podcasts, clips from movies and series, news broadcasts, songs etc.

Reading: Reading practice should be enjoyable and help you discover new vocabulary, expressions, idioms and phrasal verbs in a natural and fun way. Many resources will be used including interesting articles, short stories, poems, extracts from English novels etc.

Writing: Writing is an area that can be difficult for many students because we sometimes neglect this skill. We will work on your writing style and structure and I will help you become more comfortable in writing: stories, articles, reviews, letters, emails, reports and essays.
